Beyoncé’s 2023 Renaissance Tour
Following the release of her seventh studio album, Renaissance, Beyoncé announced her long-anticipated Renaissance World Tour on February 1, 2023, sparking excitement with fans.
The tour is scheduled to begin May 10 and end Sept. 27, showcasing the album’s 16 tracks of electronic/house music including hit song “CUFF IT”. The album also won Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 2023 Grammy awards.
“The album traverses eras of dance music to conjure the superhuman confidence and deeply human connection of a night out,” Rolling Stone’s Mankaprr Conteh said.
According to USA Today, tickets at nominal value are priced at $62 and up while floor seats are expected to be priced around $1000. Ticket pricing also depends on whether Beyoncé allows outside promoters of the tour to sell tickets.
“[Renaissance World Tour tickets] won’t hit the market until next week,” Ethan Millman at Rolling Stone said. “But that hasn’t stopped ticket scalpers from posting listings for as much as $3,000 a ticket — even if they don’t actually have them yet.”
Based on which show you plan to attend across venues in the U.S., tickets will be available for purchase through three groups: A, B, and C. Group A tickets are on sale now, and tickets for groups B and C will be available within the month.
“The presale waves could be a good way for Ticketmaster to spread out demand for Beyoncé’s tour.” Jay Peters at The Verge said.
Beyoncé fans are thrilled at the chance to get tickets for her ninth concert tour. The release of the Renaissance album was highly personal for Beyoncé, and this long-awaited tour is sure to be memorable.
“Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving.” Beyoncé said in an instagram post.
